We still don't know very much about our ancestor, John BRABROOKE.
1) In 1640 he was residing
at Hampton, MA (NH) 2) His estate settlement Date
was: 16 DEC 1662 at Watertown, MA
3) Administration Date: 1664 Place: Middlesex Co, MA
4) 1645 May 26, he sold 35
acres of land in Watertown, MA to Thomas Hastings (lot 23 of the second
division). At that time, he also had a homestall
of 6 acres bounded by neighbors William Hammond (W), John Bisco
(N), Timothy Hawkins (S), and the highway (E), plus another lot of
35
acres in the fourth division and several smaller lots in the "farther plain". 5) In 1651, he suffered a
disastrous fire and was granted L30 by the town for relief.
