While there, he married fellow passenger Elizabeth Ferguson.
When the group moved to Windsor, Hartford, CT to found that colony,
Thomas and Elizabeth moved with them.
15) By 1639, they moved away from the main Windsor
settlement to his farm in Poquonock.
16) He was a representative from Windsor and Hartford
in the convention that framed the now famous
Constitution of the Connecticut Colony.
17) Thomas Holcomb's old tombstone shows October 1657 as his date of death,
and the probate inventory record shows 1 October 1657.

Granted a lot 14 1/2 rods wide, which was sold to Josiah Hull in 1639
when he removed to Poquonok where he had the lot next N of Edward Griswold.
His son Joshua had the homestead.
