PEARLS:
An organic gem, pearls are formed inside mollusks
such as oysters and mussels. They are formed when an irritant such as
a tiny stone or bit of sand gets inside the mollusk's shell.
A lustrous substance, called nacre, is secreted around the object
to protect the soft internal surface of the mollusk.
As layer upon layer of nacre coats the irritant, a pearl is formed.
Light that is reflected from these overlapping layers produces
a characteristic iridescent luster.
This process of building a solid pearl can take up to seven or eight years.
SWAROVSKI CRYSTALS:
are produced by Swarovski AG in
Switzerland
Daniel Swarovski invented the process
to make Swarovski crystal in
1892
Today they lead the world in crystals.
Swarovski Crystals are arguably the worlds finest crystals!
TIGERS EYE:
For centuries has been worn to being money, protection, courage, energy, and luck
Roman soldiers wore tigers eye for protection in battle.
It is is a member of the quartz group of chalcedonies that exhibits chatoyancy,
a changeable silky luster resulting from light reflecting within
the thin parallel fibrous bands within the mineral layers.
The ancients believed that the changing colors represented
the energies of the Sun and the Earth.
JASPER:
is an opaque and finely grained variety of Chalcedony.
Due to it's organic material and mineral oxides, it often contains
interesting patterns and bands.
Jasper was a favorite gem in ancient times and is referenced
in Greek, Hebrew, Assyrian and Latin literature.
It's said to help bring joy into life, and to help one sleep.
Legend says that Jasper will drive away evil spirits and protect against
snake and spider bites.
In the fourth century, it was believed able to bring rain.
Jasper is protective, stabilizing and healing.
