Dinners; eating home made foods, repeat,
Breakfasts; eating home made foods, repeat,
 













repeat, repeat
amongst small talk and
polite smiles,















among sandwiches,
and prized desserts.


















Time will speedily disappear until once again we
find ourselves driving, returning home.










There'll be a smile
on my face as I
think of the box full of
photos and new documents
waiting for me in the trunk.












And the whole way home, we’ll update
each other with new stories of ancestors,
whose memories will be kept alive through
our efforts and love.














I wonder which is the best part?
It's hard to say. All I know is that
I’m filled with excitement,
















as each mile brings me
closer, to all the memories
waiting to be experienced.
